Bevwood is back!

   Bevwood will be in the Bear Valley providing Pro-Celebrity Jam Basketball Mini-Camp from Aug. 11 through Aug. 17 and in Arrowhead from Aug. 3 to Aug. 5. The Bevwood Legends are teaming up with California Coaches Coalition this year to bring coaches from former NBA, NFL, Globetrotters, and Hollywood celebrities to Big Bear and Arrowhead. The camp is open to boys and girls from 4-17. Campers are divided by age. Rookies are 4 to 7, intermediate is for ages 8 to 12 and advanced campers are ages 13-17.

   For the Arrowhead area, the minicamps will be held from Aug. 3 to Aug. 5, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Rim High School. See scheduled events below for Arrowhead.

   The camps will be held in the Big Bear High School gym. Camp A for rookies is from 4:30 to 7 p.m. and Camp B and C is from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Cost is $95 pre camper, and $15 for siblings from the same family. Sponsorships are available at all levels.    The Pro-Celebrity Jam Basketball minicamps have been coming to Big Bear since 1994 by Bill Smith, having given over $10,000 to the Big Bear High School Athletic Department. Aside from the mini camps, Bevwood will provide many opportunities for locals to watch the fun:

Arrowhead

• August 7th (4-7:30 p.m.) – Adult Fantasy Auction at the Rim High School

• August 7th – Celebrity Domino Tourney/Auction LAH Resort or LAH Pizza (To be announced)

• August 8th (10-1:00 p.m.) – Bowling at Rim Entertainment Center in Crestline

• August 8th (4-5:00 p.m.) - SessionII Adult Fantasy camp at Rim High School

• August 8th (5:30-7:30 p.m.) – Pro-Celebrity BB Game at Rim High School ($25,000 in raffle prizes)

• August 9th (1-3:00 p.m.) – Pro-Celebrity Softball game at Twin Peaks

• August 9th (7:00 p.m.) Fantasy Camp Award Dinner Banquet

Big Bear Valley

• August 14th (11-1 p.m.) - Softball Pro-Celebrities vs. Big Bear Sheriffs and Fire Department

• August 14th (2-5 p.m.)   - Autograph session at the Village Printing BBQ Grand Opening

• August 15th (12-3 p.m.) – BWFC/KRS/WHS Pro-Celebrity Fishing Tourney/Auction at Alpine Trout Lakes

• August 15th (7 p.m.)      - Sandy’s Sports Bar Celebrity party/raffle/autograph session

• August 16th (5:30 p.m.) - Pro-Celeb game at Big Bear High School

• August 17th (12-3 p.m.) - Bowling for Buddha Tourney at the Bowling Barn
