On the last weekend in July,
the Big Bear Amateur Radio Club will host FCC license preparation and
testing sessions at the Big Bear Chamber of Commerce conference room at
630 Bartlett Road, in the Big Bear Village starting at 7PM on Friday
July 25. On Sunday, July 27, we will be testing all amateur license
levels from Tech to Extra. Reservations are required... please call
Mark Klebba at 909-584-7402 to register for your testing session.
It is imperative that the
student read the study manual and take several practice tests. For more
detailed info about testing and classes, please refer to the club's
website,
www.BBARC.org, under the "classes and
test" tab.
The July 08 class hours are:
Friday, July 25, 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.; Saturday, July 26, 9:00 a.m. to
noon; and Sunday, July 27, 10:00 a.m. to noon. The testing sessions
starts on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
