We have an incredible readership. In October alone the numbers are
staggering. Look below. Of course October was exceptional
because of the fires. We are back to about 4,000 readers a
day.

We have 3,567 subscribers to our mailing list we send to twice a week.
That's 28,536 readers that get our newspaper every month. However
we get between 4,000 to 4,200 readers of the newspaper a day!
At first, when we started to grow the mailing list was very difficult to
maintain and we were thinking about stopping it all together. We
had too many objections for doing this. So we automated it using a mail
server out of Australia and now it is
easier.
As you know the main income to maintain this newspaper is to sell
advertising. The more readers we have on our mailing list, the
better we can sell more advertising. When we show how big our
readership is and our mailing list it attracts advertisers. Hence the membership drive.
Our membership drive is to give away 4 Free e-books when someone
subscribes to our free mailing list!
We want Bear Valley News to remain free. No we have not forgotten
about our loyal readers. Just email us below and we'll verify you are on

Our goal is to get more readers on our list that are already reading our
newspaper so we can sell more advertising.
We make a great effort to make the advertising not interfere with the
articles. We have to make an income to keep this newspaper Free.
This is a necessity unfortunately.

Restaurants alone received hundreds of page views last month.
